Okoume Plywood BB Grade

● This BB Grade Okoume Plywood is constructed from high-quality okoume logs. Okoume grows primarily in tropical rainforest climates, characterized by year-round high temperatures and abundant rainfall. This provides the trees with ample moisture and nutrients, resulting in straight trunks, uniform grain, and a soft, fine-grained wood structure free of visible knots and insect damage, ensuring the board's fundamental quality from the source. Okoume wood's inherent flexibility and plasticity make it less susceptible to breakage and chipping during cutting and bending, making it ideal for various furniture, packaging, and decorative applications. Furthermore, the color of okoume wood ranges from light yellow to light brown, with a uniform hue and minimal color variation. BB Grade panels are hand-screened to allow for only a few minor, repairable natural defects, eliminating the need for complex color matching and meeting most surface coating requirements, saving wholesale customers subsequent processing costs.

● The production process strictly adheres to plywood industry standards. After the logs are peeled and peeled, the veneers are staggered along the grain. This Okoume Plywood BB Grade is bonded using an environmentally friendly phenolic resin adhesive, which boasts high bond strength and excellent water resistance, ensuring the board resists delamination and debonding in humid environments. The lamination process utilizes high-temperature, high-pressure lamination. By precisely controlling the lamination time and pressure, the veneer and glue are fully integrated, enhancing the overall structural stability of the board and preventing deformation and warping during use.

● After processing, BB-grade panels undergo a secondary manual screening process, inspecting surface defects to ensure compliance with BB-grade standards. The edges of the panels are also finely sanded to ensure a smooth and even edge, reducing the amount of sanding required for wholesale customers.  Multiple quality inspections are implemented throughout the entire production process. From log delivery to finished product shipment, each batch undergoes inspections for appearance, thickness, bond strength, and other criteria. Only qualified products are released to storage to ensure consistent product quality.
